Mary Street Outlet Construction

The Mary Street Outlet Project is set to begin Tuesday October 17th. There may be some disruptions in traffic flow through the County Road 2 corridor in Johnstown during the construction to facilitate the movement of heavy equipment and materials on and off site. It is expected that the work should be complete within two to three weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during the construction period.

Please be advised that County Road 2, (CR2), will be closed to traffic for approximately 2 hrs between Canal St. and Dishaw St. in Cardinal on Saturday October 14th. The closure is necessary to facilitate the rail reinstatement that crosses CR2 and runs down Bridge St.

CR2 West bound traffic will need to detour down Bridge St., turn west on Dundas, and reenter CR2 corridor at the junction of Shanly Rd. and CR2.

Planned Roadwork County Road 2/Bridge Street

Cavanaugh Construction will be completing time sensitive work to connect phase one and three water and sewer mains beneath the railway tracks at Bridge Street and County Road 2.

The work will commence Friday October 13th and will continue straight through to the morning of Sunday October 15th. It will involve removing a portion of the railway track, excavation, installing cement chambers, new water and sanitary mains and re-instating the railway track.
